Abstract: A new species in the genus Daiotyla, Daiotyla xanthina, is described and illustrated from Colombia. Among the species of Daiotyla, D. xanthina is easily distinguished by its yellow, concolorous flowers and the ovate-acute lip, unique in the genus.
